Surplus

In alignment with Title 53 RCW, the Port of Ridgefield is committed to responsible asset management through the transparent declaration and disposal of surplus property. Our process adheres to state mandates, allowing us to sell or otherwise dispose of both real and personal property that is no longer required for our operations. This includes a structured approach involving the adoption of resolutions by our port commission, delegation to our CEO for handling lower-value items, and ensuring public participation for property integral to our comprehensive plan. Our goal is to manage surplus assets in a manner that is both legally compliant and in the best interest of our community and stakeholders.
